VIOLA VEE-o-la Zones 2-9 (Violets)

VICA V. canadensis - White violets appear on 10" plants continuously from early April until frost except for a period in August when the foliage comes up fresh and new. We sometimes just run the lawnmower over the tired looking leaves in late July and then watch the new growth come up and commence blooming in about 2 weeks. It spreads by underground runners but doesn't compete with adjacent lawn.
